TESTIMONIALS

I went for my first run in my Bondi Bs today. Amazing! At age 54 and just 3 days out from a hilly marathon in St. Louis, the shoes proved to be very comfortable, allowing me to run a quick 5 miler. Usually it would be a week or more before I felt capable of running like that after a challenging marathon. Thanks for a great product. I had read in reviews that the shoes take some getting used to. They do take some time — about 5 strides. After that, running was a pure pleasure. The shoes seemed to beckon me to run a bit faster and when I did my legs and feet still felt comfortable. Make it a good day and thanks again.

Thank you so much for helping me get the right size Hoka One One running shoes for the Leadville Trail 100 run. You helped me more than you know because I'm convinced that the Bondi B's I used enabled me to run a P.R. and also set the course record for the Leadman Ultimate Challenge (Leadville Trail Marathon, Leadville Silver Rush 50 MTB or Run, Leadville Trail 100 MTB, Leadville Trail 10K Run and the Leadville Trial 100 Run). I saw many runners using Hokas and I will definitely continue to spread the word that Hokas are "THE" shoe to wear.

Hoka's were the only running shoe I could train in after I broke my foot on June 3rd in a motorcycle accident as I to continued to train for the Leadman Ultimate Challenge. They allowed me to do so with minimal pain to my broken foot.

I appreciate your personal help and I love the Hoka One One running shoes. Thanks again.

Aloha. I did my first run in the Hoka One One Bondi B road running shoe the other day. A friend of mine brought the shoe back from a trail running race in Oregon and at first glance I thought they looked crazy. Then I tried them on and went for a 4 mile run. They felt amazing! I am a professional Ironman Athlete with top three finishes at Ironman China and Korea. I have also placed 14th in the Ironman World Championships, Kona, Hawaii plus top 10 finishes at Ironman World Championships 70.3. I tend to lead many races in the Swim and Bike but my body breaks down during the Run/marathon and the first thing to go are my legs. This shoe may be my answer that I have been looking for! Triathlon is your market. We all break down out there in the last half of the run/marathon. I plan on racing the Ironman Arizona in the Bondi B. The course is 99% concrete and I really feel this can give someone like me a serious edge. I just thought I would throw in my two cents that your shoe may become a triathlon craze shoe. I hope to be one of the first to rock a pair at the front of an Ironman. Thank you for the Genius innovation! Cheers.

The Hoka One One Poster Boy
The Doctor took one look at my MRI and said trauma is too risky. No more running!
Mark Plaatjes of In Motion Physical Therapy and one of the owners of Boulder Running Company took a look at the MRI and asked the following and gave this response:

Q: Are you in any pain?  A: No
Q: Do you have any restriction of movement?  A: No
Q: Do you want to continue running?  A: Yes!
Q: Ok, then you must run in Hoka One One Shoes  A: But they look so weird.
Q: Are you concerned about fashion or running?  A: Running!
Q: Then don't act like a princess and go run!"

I am now running every other day 10k minimum and enjoying every second. Thanks Hoka One One and of course Mark Plaatjes.

Hello Hoka One One,My life has come to a full circle from being once obese. 11 years I was 210 pounds, plus size 18-20, and living my life in the past. I then discovered exergaming, lost 75 pounds, and set a World Record! While training for this year's event, I've been fulfilling my childhood dreams of running half marathons and full marathons trying to inspire anyone who is struggling to over come obesity. The current record is set at 20 hours. My training began 2 weeks after I broke my last record in July of 2011. I have experience, I know what works and what doesn't in order to dance to an incredible hour!

I love your shoes! A friend recommended them to me and within 24 hours I was just going to do a test marathon, instead, I danced 11 hours with no problems! These are my miracle shoes and I only wished I had known about them for my last Guinness record setting attempt! I'm planning on wearing your shoes this year for my historical record setting attempt, so I can bring awareness to a modern way to fight obesity. When I break this record, I'll earn the right to call myself an athletic again. While inspiring others to not give up on their quest to be healthy. I hope to show them that when you find something you love — stick with it — you can achieve anything in this world!

My feet & legs feel amazing after a tough marathon (2012 Boston Marathon) yesterday. OK, quads hurt but c’mon it's Boston! I was tentative after injury in December's Honolulu Marathon, but I didn't feel even a twinge of a cramp coming on the entire blazing hot 26.2. With the heat wave, the race course was a flooded mass of water and plastic cups... but I just floated right over them with my Stinson Bs. Mahalo Wil and Hoka!

I recently completed the 350 miles in remote Alaskan wilderness as part of the Iditarod Trail Invitational/Alaska Ultra Sport. This is an extremely difficult race and this year was the most challenging in the history of the race. It was my fourth time to start the race with previous attempts in 2008, 2009 and 2010 resulting in various injuries at various distances along the route. I was able to complete the route this year and the 1st woman to finish.

This is the first year (ever) that a female runner arrived first to McGrath. Previously it has always been a cyclist. This race is 350 miles with mandatory checkpoints, but no mandatory layovers in remote Alaska on a snow trail. This year, most of us spent the first two days with little or no trail and had to break trail through two feet of new snow. The route goes over a pass, much like the Iditarod Sled Dog race, which starts a week after the ITI. The race is limited to 50 racers, a combination of cyclists, skiers and runners. Only 18 people reached the 350 mile mark, and no one even attempted to go farther this year (most years at least 10 people attempt to go on to Nome – another 700+ miles).

And, I did the whole route in Hoka One One shoes:
- 350 miles in 8 days, 2 hours, 20 minutes
- First female finisher
- 3rd place in “foot” division
- 7th place overall

My shoes garnered quite a bit of attention because no one had seen anything like them. I trudged in snowshoes, on ice and slush, and at temperatures more than -40F. It was amazing! My feet were never cold.
